Effective notification management is crucial for keeping your team informed and responsive. This guide will walk you through the process of reviewing existing notification roles and assigning them to contacts at the property level. By following these steps, you'll ensure that the right people receive the right notifications at the right time.
Before we begin, it's important to note that for comprehensive information on configuring notifications, please refer to the "Configuring Notifications" article.
Configuring Notification Contact Roles
1. Click on Admin > Contact Roles tab to review existing notification roles.
2. If you'd like to add a new role, you can click "Create Contact Role" on the top right.
3. Click on the blue name of the desired contact role to access its settings. On the initial "Users" page, you can see who is currently added to this notification role and what property they're configured for.
4. If you click the "Settings" tab, you can see configure the settings for the contact role. You can edit the name at the top and enable whether non Prism users can be added to this contact role.
5. If you scroll down, you can see and edit which notifications are included for this contact role. If you make any changes, ensure to click "Save Contact Role" at the bottom right.
Add Users to Contact Roles
You can add Users to these contact roles per property. This will set them up to receive the notifications configured for that contact type.
On the Contact Role:
1. Click into Admin > Contact Roles> Click relevant Contact Role
2. Under the "Users" tab, click "Add User to Contact Role at a Property."
3. Choose the user and property you want to add to the contact type, then click "Apply User & properties"
Alternatively, you can add or remove users from contacts roles on the property level.
1. Click into My Properties > Choose relevant property
2. Click the "Contact Roles" tab. This shows you who is added to which contact role at this property.
3. If you click "Apply Contact Role" here, you can add users to a notification role as well:

3.2. Select the User Type and User
3.3. Click Apply Contact Role
