Custom Fields
- Permission Settings Update: The old 'Can View Private Custom Field' permission has been changed to now be called 'Can Interact With Private Custom Field'. This permission has always given the user the ability to write on a Private Custom Field.

Permission Extension to Tenants: The 'Can Interact With Private Custom Field' permission is an optional permission even for tenants, and any account that had at least one “Tenant Visible” custom field will have this permission enabled for tenant permission groups.
Introduction of a new View-Only Permission: We have added a new permission - 'Can View Private Custom Field' - that allows users to view private custom fields without the ability to interact with them. -
Automatic Grant of View Permission: Users with the 'Can Interact With Private Custom Field' permission will always have the new ‘Can View Private Custom Field’ permission.
If a user does not have any of these permissions or the ‘Can Interact With Private Custom Fields’ then they will not see these fields nor be required to fill them out. -
Renaming of Field: The 'Tenant Visible' field is now called 'Private Custom Field'. The state of the field (ON or OFF) remains unchanged from the Tenant Visible setting.
‘Private Custom Field’ is OFF then this is a regular custom field which is public.

Here's a detailed look at what's new:

Automatic Profanity Detection: Bengie AI is equipped with a powerful profanity filter. If a user submits a comment that may contain inappropriate language, Bengie AI will act as a first line of defense. The potentially offensive comment will be automatically hidden from the tenant's view for immediate protection.

Review and Notification: Once the comment is flagged for containing possibly inappropriate content, an email is automatically dispatched to the property manager, this will inform them about the comment, instigating a review of the content.

User-Based Comment Editing: We understand sometimes people may misspeak or mistype. That is why users are given the ability to edit their comment and remove any offensive language or unhide it from the tenant.

The aim of introducing this new profanity detection and review mechanism is to protect the vital relationship between property managers and tenants, ensuring respectful and professional communication is upheld.
