Creating a Work Order
Important Note: Before creating a Work Order, the associated Issue Type must already exist in Prism. If an Issue Type needs to be created, go to Admin > Issue Types > Add Issue Type.
Create a Work Order
1. Click Work Orders. Then, click New Work Order. (Note: Users can also create a Work Order by clicking Create Work Order button, located above Home.)
2. Select Property, Company or User, and complete the related field(s) to the right.
Note: If you would like the Work Order to be recurring, toggle on the recurring field and complete the frequency information. Recurring Work Orders have a parent (or primary) Work Order which defines the series. Child (or individual) Work Orders then fire out at the set frequency.
Note: If the work is related to an existing Work Order, toggle on the related field and choose the existing Work Order from the dropdown. From the Relationship Type dropdown menu, choose Related.
3. Complete the required fields. Then, click Submit.
