This guide provides step-by-step instructions on setting up these notifications, allowing you to configure insurance contacts at Tenant and Vendor companies or individual Certificates.
You can set up insurance contacts for each company or for each Certificate.
Configuring it for a company will send notifications to the insurance contact(s) for all Certificates listed for that company.

How to set up a user for Certificate notifications for each Company:
- Navigate to My Companies and select the company you want to set up Certificate notifications for.
- Click into "Additional Contacts" on the right panel of the company page
- Click "Add Contact" under Insurance Contacts
- You can add a new contact or choose from an existing contact/user. Insurance contacts do not need to be Prism users.
- Once added, this user will be set up for insurance notifications for all Certificates listed for this company.
Alternatively, you can add an Insurance Contact per Certificate. This will notify the user of upcoming expiry for that specific Certificate.
How to add an insurance contact for each Certificate:
- Navigate to Insurance > Create Certificate on the top right
- Fill in necessary details and scroll down to Insurance Contact Information. You can click "Add Contact" to add a contact
- You can add a new contact or choose an existing Insurance Contact (must be added as insurance contact on the company level first, as explained earlier). Insurance contacts do not need to be Prism users.
Once Insurance Contacts are added, you can adjust what notifications these users receive.
How to customize notifications sent to insurance contacts
- Navigate to Admin > Roles > Insurance Contact
- This role defines the notifications that are sent to Insurance Contacts. When you click into the role, you can customize what gets sent.
- After you make your adjustments, click "Save Role" on the bottom right to save changes
How to send out bulk insurance notifications:
If desired, you can send out non compliance or upcoming expiry notifications for multiple COIs at once.
- Navigate to Insurance
- Choose relevant Certificates to trigger notifications for
- Click "Notify of Non-Compliant Status" or "Notify of Expiration"
