In Prism, you can classify vendors in My Companies to better categorize and track businesses.
Follow the steps below to update vendor classifications for a company.
Requirements: You must have the Can Manage Companies permission to make these changes.
Steps to Update Vendor Classifications
- Navigate to My Companies in Prism.
- Use the search bar to find and select the vendor company you want to update.
- Open the company profile and click Edit (top-right corner) next to Vendor Classification.
- A form will open with a Vendor Classifications dropdown.
- Select one or more classifications from the following options:
- Disability-Owned
- Hub Zone Business
- Indigenous-Owned (New)
- LGBTQ+ Owned
- Minority-Owned
- Native American-Owned
- Rural Business
- Small Business-Owned
- Union Business
- Veteran-Owned
- Women-Owned
6. Click Save to apply the changes.
Once saved, the updated classifications will appear on the vendor’s profile.
