Prism offers a powerful work order scheduling feature that allows you to plan and organize tasks with ease. One of the key benefits of this system is the ability to schedule work for a later date, enabling proactive work tasks and better resource allocation.
By scheduling work orders in advance, you can:
- Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance
- Allocate resources more effectively
- Reduce emergency repairs by addressing potential issues early
- Coordinate with tenants and service providers for minimal disruption
This article is designed to help you navigate how to Schedule a Work Order in Prism.
Please Note: You must have the permissions granted to schedule work orders.
Admins: The "Can Schedule Work Orders" permission is found in the Work Orders section of the Admin>Manage Permissions settings.
There are two ways to Create a work order:
1. Select Create Work Order at the top of the left hand menu.
2. Select Work Orders from the left hand menu and then select the blue "Create Work Order" option in the top right corner of the program
Once you are on the Work Order Form, follow these steps:
1. Fill in all of the required information
2. After the details section is completed, you will see the optional Schedule section on the form. Select the toggle option "Schedule for a later date?"
3. Select your desired timezone
4. Select desired date
5. Select Time for creation
6. Select Submit
To view work order schedule:
1. Select Work Orders on left hand menu
2. Select Schedules
3. Either search or filter the grid to locate desired work order schedule
