We're excited to announce significant updates to the Contracts module in Prism, designed to enhance your contract management experience with intelligent status tracking, improved grid layout, and expanded functionality. This article outlines the key updates, common use cases, and instructions on how to use the new features.

- Quickly attaching multiple contracts to bids or companies
- Exporting contract data for reporting or analysis
- Importing new contracts in bulk
- Filtering contracts by end date to manage renewals or expirations
- Searching for specific contracts using the enhanced search functionality
Dynamic Contract Status Management
Transform how you track and manage vendor relationships with three new intelligent statuses:

Automatic "Due for Renewal" Status:
- Contracts automatically transition to this status when their end dates fall between 3 months and 1 day away.
- Visual indicators help prioritize action - renewal timelines appear as "Renews in XX days/months" with color-coding as deadlines approach.
- A new default "Upcoming Renewal Due" layout keeps these contracts front and center.

Automatic "Expired" Status:
- Contracts seamlessly transition to "Expired" once the end date passes.
- No more manual updates are required to maintain accurate status information.
- Instantly identify contracts that need attention or archiving.

Manual "Terminated" Status:
- Differentiate between contracts that naturally ended and those terminated for cause.
- Maintain a historical record of vendor relationships while clearly marking terminated agreements.
- Excluded from renewal calculations and filtered from standard views.
How to Use:

Accessing the Contracts Module:
- Navigate to the Contracts section in Prism.
- The updated grid will display with a standardized layout and new features.
- You can create a Contract by using the blue "Create Contract" button
- As with other Prism modules, permissions specific to contracts can be enabled/disabled for contract management and visibility.

Using Bulk Actions in the Search Grid:
- Select multiple contracts using checkboxes.
- Use the bulk action button to attach selected contracts to entities

Customizing the Grid View:

- Add or remove columns as needed.
- Adjust filters using the quick filter options for properties and end dates.
- Use the search bar to find contracts by keyword, phrase, or contract ID.

Applying Filters:
- Use the quick filter options at the top of the grid for properties and end dates.
- For more advanced filtering, use the column-specific filters within the grid.

Exporting and Importing:
- Click the action dropdown menu.
- Choose "Export All Columns" or "Export Visible Columns."
- To import, select "Import Contracts" from the same menu.
