Refactoring Compliance Calculations: Certificate Statuses in the Insurance module - Click here to learn more
Part of a larger effort to harden Prism Insurance's compliance logic, ensuring correct and consistent calculations across the product.-
This week’s release introduces clearly defined rules for profile selection so that certificate compliance statuses are consistently correct. Users will see accurate certificate compliance statuses when creating new COIs (in UI or through import) & editing existing COIs.
-
Work to automatically recalculate compliance statuses on existing COIs to follow in the next release.
-
Additional updates to property and company compliance statuses will also follow in the next release.
-
-
Update to Certificate Import Logic (w/ limited recalculation post-import)
-
When certificate compliance status is included in the ‘Status’ column in the Paid Certificates import template, that status is automatically applied and certificate compliance is no longer recalculated after import. If no status is included, certificate compliance calculations run as normal after COI is imported. This supports customer migrations where users want certificates created in Prism through import to represent COI data as it appeared in Classic.
-
-
Allowing duplicate Coverage Types on a Certificate
-
This feature removes the current restriction of one Coverage Type per certificate. Users are now able to add the same Coverage Type to a COI more than once. COIs with duplicate coverages will now be calculated as ‘Compliant’ if the combined Limit Amounts meet the amount on the profile AND AM Best Ratings for each of the duplicated coverages (if required) meet the Minimum Ratings specified on the profile.
-
-
Notes field on Coverage Types
-
A new ‘Coverage Type Notes’ field is now included for each Coverage Type on a certificate. This free text field is in addition to the ‘Additional Insured or Remarks’ field typically used for general notes on the COI. ‘Coverage Type Notes’ is available in the UI and through the Paid Certificates import template. This supports coverage-specific notes migrated from Classic.
-
Fixes:
- A bug where the certificate behavior in companies on the Prism platform is not functioning correctly, causing issues with property access and management
Preventive Maintenance
Fixes:
- An issue where the 'Next Run' column in the PM schedules grid is not sorting properly, leading to confusion and inefficiency in preventive maintenance scheduling
Tenant Compliance
Fixes:
- An issue where tenant compliance notifications are not including company logos, potentially reducing brand visibility in communications
Visitor
Fixes:
- A problem where recurring visitors do not trigger visitor entries for subsequent dates, potentially compromising security and visitor tracking
Work Order
Fixes:
- A problem where users cannot select a labor date after the work order is completed, even when the work order is reopened, limiting the ability to accurately record labor
- A bug where users cannot complete work orders if a required "On Complete" form is added to the issue type after the work order is created, affecting workflow completion
