Q&A Session:
- Q: Is the labor grid visible from the app?
- A: The labor grid is not available on the mobile app, but it is accessible on the web version of Prism.
- Q: What are some best practices for property names, team names, etc.?
- A: Developing a standard naming convention across your portfolio is recommended. For example, use consistent prefixes or suffixes for engineering teams (e.g., "Engineering Team - South," "Engineering Team - East"). For property groups, consider using acronyms or sub-market names within regions.
- Q: Is there a way to deactivate a company without having to deactivate each user attached to it?
- A: Unfortunately, there is not a way to deactivate a company without first deactivating all associated users. You must go to the "My Users" section, filter by company, and deactivate each user individually before deactivating the company.
- Q: How do I send someone another welcome email if they forgot their login and password?
- A: For users who have never logged in, you can resend the welcome email from their profile in "My Users" or by selecting multiple users in the grid view. For users who have logged in before but forgot their password, they should use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen.
- Q: Is there a screen or grid that would allow me to see all the issue types under all properties, not one property at a time?
- A: Yes, go to Admin > Issue Types. Use the "Property" tab to select multiple properties and make bulk updates to issue types across those properties.
- Q: Do you have scenarios where people create property groups that duplicate regions?
- A: Yes, this can happen. Property groups can be useful for filtering on grids where region filters may not be available, so sometimes duplication can serve a purpose.
- Q: How do you remove a group in "My Properties"?
- A: Currently, there is no way to remove property groups through the UI. Consider repurposing existing groups or contact Prism support for assistance in cleaning up unused groups.
- Q: Is your hierarchy in groups or is it all flat?
- A: For property groups, the hierarchy is flat.
- Q: Can we deactivate an entire group of users or do we have to go one by one?
- A: Currently, users must be deactivated individually. For bulk deactivation of a large number of users, contact Prism support for assistance.
- Q: Are API questions appropriate for this call?
- A: While this webinar didn't cover API specifics, you can find API documentation in the support center or reach out to Prism support for API-related questions
