Prism allows you to establish relationships between Tenant companies by creating sub-tenant connections. This feature is useful when you need to represent secondary occupants within a primary tenant's space while maintaining separate company records. Here's how to add a sub-tenant company:
- Click the blue '+ Create Company' button in the top right corner of the page.
- At the top of the screen, select the appropriate Tenant Company type.
- Toggle on the This is a sub-tenant option located on the right side of the page.
4. Choose the primary tenant company you want this sub-tenant to be connected to.
5. Enter the company information. Note that spaces linked to the primary tenant will be available for selection for the sub-tenant company. The sub-tenant should be assigned to a suite within the parent tenant's space.
6. Click the blue Create Company button at the bottom of the page to complete the process.
Important Note: Primary tenants cannot see work orders created by their sub-tenants unless their users have the "View all company WOs" permission and they are properly added to the sub-tenant company.
While sub-tenants appear in a hierarchical relationship in the interface, both companies are treated equally in the system backend. The sub-tenant designation simply establishes a connection between the two companies.
