Overview
Prism users with the "Can Manage Bid Request" permission now have the ability to fully delete past bids.
This feature addresses the need to remove test bids, mistaken bids, or any bids that should no longer be included in reports or account views. Previously, only bids in draft mode could be deleted. Now, bids in any status (Open, Cancelled, Fulfilled, etc.) can be permanently removed.
Why Delete Bids?
- Remove test data: Eliminate test bids used during implementation or training to ensure accurate reporting.
- Correct errors: Delete bids created in error that should not be included in your data.
- Maintain data accuracy: Keep your Prism account clean and focused on relevant, active bids.
Important Considerations
- Permanent Removal: Deleting a bid is a permanent action. The bid and all associated data will be completely removed from Prism and cannot be recovered.
- Impact on Reporting: Deleted bids will no longer be included in any reports generated from Prism.
- No Reactivation: Once a bid is deleted, it cannot be reactivated or restored.
Who Can Delete Bids?
