This guide outlines the process of filtering the equipment grid in Prism's My Equipment module. This feature allows users to customize their view of the equipment list, making it easier to find specific items or groups of equipment based on various criteria.
By utilizing the filtering capabilities in the equipment grid, users can significantly improve their equipment management practices. This leads to more streamlined operations and faster reporting results.
To Filter the Equipment Grid:
Click the My Equipment module and navigate to the Equipment tab.
Filter the equipment grid using the drop downs at the top of the page. Or click "Show Filters" to see more options.
View all available filters on the right of the page. Click "Save Layout" at the bottom to save the filtered fields for easy access next time.
View which filters have been applied to the equipment grid in blue under the filters. Click the x to clear the filter. If multiple filters have been applied, click the x on each to clear a single filter or click Reset All Filters.
FAQ Troubleshooting:
Q: What if I cannot find the piece of equipment I am looking for?
A: If you are starting a new search, please make sure to reset your filters from you previous search so they do not carry over an dilute your new search parameters
We also ask that you check to make sure that you are spelling your equipment piece correctly into the search bar
Q: I have cleared my filters, checked my spelling, and the equipment piece I am looking for is still not showing in the grid.
A: If you know that the equipment you are looking for is already attached to a PM Task, look for that task in the Prentive module to make sure the name of the equipment is correct. If you still cannot find it, it may have never been built in the system, and you will have to build it out. To create a new equipment piece, please refer to this guide: Adding Equipment
