Efficiently Managing Work Orders: Filtering, Customizing, and Bulk Actions

This guide will help you navigate the Work Order management system with ease, focusing on three key areas: filtering the grid to find what you need, customizing your view with relevant columns, and performing actions on multiple work orders simultaneously.

Filtering the Work Order Grid

1. Click the Work Orders tab 
2. Use the drop-down at the top of the page to click into a Saved Layout, filter by property groups, or by Properties. Filter the grid even further by clicking the "Show Filters" buttons on the right. 

 

Click "Save Layout" at the bottom on the filters to save the filtered fields. 

3. View which filters have been applied to the Work Order grid in blue under the filters. Click the x to clear the filter. If multiple filters have been applied, click the x on each to clear a single filter or click Reset All Filters.

Customizing the Work Order Grid's Columns

1. Click the "Show Filters" button located at the top right of the page.

2. Select the Columns tab:

   • Check the boxes for the columns you want to display.
   • Uncheck the boxes for columns you want to hide.
   • You can rearrange your columns in the Work Order search grid. 

Bulk Actions on the Work Order Grid

You can click the checkbox to the left of Work Orders to perform actions on multiple Work Orders at once. 

1. Click the checkbox(es) and look under the Search bar for the possible bulk options
2. 
3. The possible actions you can perform are as follows:
   1. Change Status - change the status of the selected Work Orders at once
   2. Reassign - reassign selected Work Orders at once
   3. Print - print a PDF report of the selected Work Orders 
   4. Create invoice - create a PDF invoice of selected Work Orders 
   5. Estimated Labor - add estimated labor to the selected Work Orders at once
