Configuring Vendor Service Profiles: Defining Service Types and Coverage Areas

This article explains how to enhance your vendor records in Prism by adding detailed service classifications and geographic coverage information. By properly configuring these vendor profiles, you create a more organized supplier database that helps identify appropriate service providers for specific maintenance needs and locations.

Permissions Required: 

• Can Manage Service Areas
• Can Access Bid Management
• Can Edit Vendor Companies
• Can Manage Company

The simple process outlined here allows you to document what types of services each vendor provides and where they operate.

1. Click "My Companies" on the left-hand side of your Prism screen.
2. Click on the Vendor Company Name to view more details on this company
3. Click the "Services" tab
4. Click the "Edit" button in between "Service Radius" and the Vendor Service tab. (image below)
5. Select Service Radius and Service Offering Category and subcategories (2 images below)
6. Then click "Submit"  to complete adding service types to your vendors in "My Companies"
