This article explains how to enhance your vendor records in Prism by adding detailed service classifications and geographic coverage information. By properly configuring these vendor profiles, you create a more organized supplier database that helps identify appropriate service providers for specific maintenance needs and locations.
Permissions Required:
- Can Manage Service Areas
- Can Access Bid Management
- Can Edit Vendor Companies
- Can Manage Company
The simple process outlined here allows you to document what types of services each vendor provides and where they operate.
- Click "My Companies" on the left-hand side of your Prism screen.
- Click on the Vendor Company Name to view more details on this company
- Click the "Services" tab
- Click the "Edit" button in between "Service Radius" and the Vendor Service tab. (image below)
- Select Service Radius and Service Offering Category and subcategories (2 images below)
- Then click "Submit" to complete adding service types to your vendors in "My Companies"
