There are 2 main methods to updating the properties associated to an existing User
These methods are: #1 Editing from the Grid and #2 Editing from the Users Profile. Instructions and screenshots below:
Method #1: Editing from the 'My User' grid. (You can edit multiple users at 1 time)
- Go to the 'My Users' tab on the left-hand side of Prism
- In the search box within the 'My Users' tab, type in the applicable user name or email
- Within the grid: Click the checkbox next to Users name. After you do so, more options will appear.
- Clicking ‘Add Properties’ or ‘Remove Properties’ will open a drop-down option for Properties that you can select properties from there to make changes.
- After, Prism will display a loading and confirmation message in the top right corner to confirm changes were or were not made.
Method #2: Editing from the User Profile
- Go to 'My Users' tab on the left-hand side of Prism
- In the search box within 'My Users' tab, type in the applicable user name or email
- Within the grid: Click the Users name to navigate to their profile.
- Within the User Profile click the 'Properties' tab
- Within the Properties Tab - Click 'Manage Properties'
- Within the 'Manage Properties' pop-up, you can toggle on and off properties you'd like to associate to this user. You also can perform bulk actions such as 'Grant All Access' or 'Remove All Access'
- The toggle will automatically apply once toggled. In other words, there is no save button here.
