Prism integrates Work Orders with floor plans, allowing users to mark the exact location of work orders directly on building floor plans. This article explains how authorized users can add location pins to existing work orders—creating a visual reference point that helps maintenance staff quickly locate issues within a facility.
Permissions Required:
- Can Add Pins to Floor Plans
- Can View Floor Plans
- Click the work orders tab and find a work order that you would like to pin from the work orders grid. Please note that currently, on the desktop version of Prism, the work order must be created before being able to pin its location to the floor plan.
- Click the Work Order ID to open the work order information.
- Under the Location & Contact tab, you will find the Floor Plan option. Click Add Work Order Location to Floor Plan.
- Click Add Pin then click where you would like to pin the location of the work order.
- Click Save Changes to finish.
